The Planning and Zoning Department is responsible for various duties associated with the County's rural addressing system, including coordinating address marker assignment; corner post/street names installations; street re-naming requests; and placement of address points in the GIS. New E911 addresses for parcels being developed are assigned by the Planning and Zoning Department.

These addresses are also placed into a digital file that can be used by county staff to help locate properties when inquiries are received.

The cost associated with a new E911 address is $65. Effective July 1, 2024 the cost to install or replace an address marker will be $85
